For us first timers, it is going to be very hard to transform our bodies. There is no way we can complete this daunting task on our own. Nov 20, 2009 9:51pm Whew! Long day ending a long week led to a tough workout tonight!
-
Gym has a new trainer who followed me around my circuit setting the machines, counting reps and writing down my results for me. Nice but really wore me out since there was not any recovery time between exercises. 65,915 total volume tonight.
-
Scale is still stuck but showed 14  improvement overall this week, -6.75  bad and +7.25  good!
-
Bad Reductions + Good Increases = PROGRESS!

Nov 19, 2009 12:33pm Tip of the Day (continued): That doesn't mean you can eat pizza every other day. It means you can eat pizza for one meal probably once a week. It can sometimes benefit...

Nov 19, 2009 12:31pm Tip of the Day: Unless you are a professional body builder, it is totally unrealistic to eat clean every day. So, it is 100% fine to have a "cheat" meal every so often. Just like you need to switch up your workouts every few weeks, you ALSO need to switch up your eating habits every few days. Otherwise, your body will get used to that too...

Errands after work pushed the workout a couple hours late tonight, on top of being a weight / plate increase night.
Still managed to grind out 53,808 LBs in volume during my 65 minutes of insanity.
BONZAI!!!
I am actually looking forward to Fridays weigh in…hoping the needle finally slides down at least a little LOL!

Nov 17, 2009 5:29pm The best way I stay motivated with eating is learning how to make better food all of the time. I love to eat out, and that was what caused my weight gain. Once you learn how to make your old favorites but in a healthy way you will start to enjoy eating this way. Also have a few reward meals once or twice a week. It helps when you do not deprive yourself of food, just plan for those days.

Nov 17, 2009 5:13pm Tip of the Day: If you are transforming for the first time, you WILL have a day or two where you go totally off track. The key is to understand that a transformation is a LONG process and that those one or two days will not hurt you in the long run. So please, when that happens, it is not an excuse to stop your routine for a week.
