Hi everyone. I have just joined the group. I had a lot problems with my dieting lately because of my emotional eating habits. I'm trying to break free from it and to make a successful cut to 8 % body fat. I started my 12 week transformation today and I'll have my body fat measured on Thursday. I'm looking forward to be active in this group.

I just joined bb site and I am looking for some assistance. I am 5"4 and 122 pounds. I want to lose fat especially in my hip, butt area and gain some muscle. I want to look leaner and have a lower body fat percentage. Can someone tell me how many calories I should be consuming? Also, should I follow a "fat loss" program or a "muscle building" program. I'm confused! Please help!

I just joined this group today~I'm getting a early start on my healthy eating habits before I start my 12 week program. My goal is to enter my 1st competition in May & I need support shedding off that last bit of body fat. My sugar intake is now down to just "natural sugars" from my fruit intake but that's about to be over soon. YiKeS! This is where I feel that I may break down a time or two!

I'm back!! So basically after my 12 weeks, I lost a total of 50 lbs. and maintained muscle. Plan to keep going and hopefully i can do my first show by next year.

Hi, how do you measure body fat? Is there a device for non-professional usage that measures body fat quite preciselly? I've gained some mass and would like to know if it's not just fat :) r.
