Jul 28, 2009 9:24am What's up, BFL'ers? I got to speak to the man himself last Thursday on his radio show. Bill Phillips is awesome and I hope it isn't the last time we chat.

Jun 27, 2009 9:08am hmmm that is a tricky one . . . i dont know much about packing on the muscles. For me my goals were to cut body fat and weight and tone up but not add a lot of muscle. I did add some muscle but not a lot. More like shape up what I had. Hopefully, someone else can comment.

Jun 26, 2009 10:38pm Also, even the calories to lose weight is 500 calories more than I ate yesterday over 8 meals! I'm not saying I doubt the numbers but it's kinda scary for me to consume such a large number of calories when I'm not hungry and 'm trying to lose weight.

Jun 26, 2009 10:38pm Thanks oceanblue149, great websites. But I still have 2 issues. In order to be successful at the BFL Challenge I need to cut a lot of body fat and pack on the muscle. Do I use the calories shown under lose weight, maintain weight or gain weight? I'm leaning towards maintaining weight to strike a balance between the two opposing goals. (To be continued...)

Jun 26, 2009 10:48am Hi All, I just started the challenge this week and I can use some advice. I just wrote a rambling blog post (my 1st post!) on my page asking for feedback on amount of calories I need to build muscle AND lose weight. I don't think I'm taking in enough calories even with eating 8 times yesterday... Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks!
