Nov 14, 2009 8:12pm Hey does anyone have any great tips for healing sore tendon/ligaments? My shoulder/bicep has me unable to do upper body right now. Tried acupuncture today. Too soon to tell. Any tips would be appreciated.

Oct 7, 2009 6:54pm When I get an urge for sweets I grab sugarless gum. If that doesn't work I will eat part of Pure Protein's Smores Bar. Really satisfying. Then for a sweetener... for coffee, tea, etc I use Stevia drops. Sometimes I get those urges just because I haven't had enough carbs. As long as I eat oatmeal with breakfast I usually can stay away from the sweets. Good luck. And at 41 you're still young. I'm 59 and still training since 27. Stay with it.

Jul 19, 2009 7:13am Hello to Christine and the group. I am 41 an have been in/out of the fitness scene since my 20's. I want to get that lean hard look I cary every thing in my lower body. I lost a total of 50lbs but I still can not lean out my legs /abs. Any tips.I also have a swwet tooth. Need healthy ideas.

Apr 1, 2009 11:14am Today was a special day for me. I actually sprinted for the first time in years. I have been slowly rehabbing an old achilles rupture using the elliptical and then graduating to the treadmill. Today when I finished the treadmill my legs felt great, so I decided to try some sprints up the stairs. God it felt soooo good to be able to drive my legs like that. My glutes and thighs were burning when I finished the sets. Now I can start training them hard again!

Mar 30, 2009 4:28pm I’m 8 weeks out from trying to reach my goal of hitting the beach shirtless, so i am going with NO sugar or grains, even brown grains during this eight week span to see how it works. I feel my abs tightening and shaping up, but of course stubborn fat is hiding them. By doing this my body is forced to burn the remaining fat i have for energy. It may help me get under 10% bodyfat also
