Finding a healthy balance between time and school, the gym, and other activities.

Oct 31, 2009 9:25pm I pack my meals for school.. wake up extra early(like a half hour) and just make a sandwich with protein(egg, tuna or chicken salad that i make once a week and put in mason jars in the fridge). I pack munchies like almonds, baby carrots and mini-wheats as well as protein powder. I dont even have to worry about meal times as i can just eat anywhere anytime!

Jun 20, 2009 6:43pm and be in a catabolic state for too long. That kind of volume is just wearing you down and not letting your muscles time to recover.

Jun 20, 2009 6:41pm Flat out, no. You can't make the same gains as some one on juice. Less stress is subjective and situational. You will make gains on any program, doesn't mean they're optimal.
I guarantee if you went into the gym mon wed frid, did squat, bench, rows, military press, curls and triceps presses 4 sets 8-10 reps you'd see gains in half the time. Simple fact is after 1 hour excercise with out hormonal assistance, cortisol is through the rooof, and you're going to keep fat on the midsection,

May 17, 2009 1:05am 6 days a week is a normal program for any amateur or professional bodybuilder by the way. And if done correctly, a routine can be repeated every three days without the danger of over-training. It takes a bit of basic math and a brain and anyone can work it out. On top of doing a 6 day a week training system, I also have a 5,000 calorie diet and I can still maintain my grades and social life. Like I said it takes will power and dedication.
