over the past month i've been eating cabbage, soy and all those other things that apparently affect thyroids, and mine went from going worse to my doctor now having to lower the dosage on my meds (hooray!). So just wanted to bring that up, not sure if anyone else has had this happen.

Heyyyy group, I just joined today. I have a thyroid problem, and have been on the keto diet, which has worked wonders for me, mentally and physicly. Carbs always gave me acid indigestion, and you cant take synthriod and tums, together, did you know that? So the keto diet is awesome for me. I take 1.25mcg synthriod. Good Luck Group, im here for the lending hand, going on 13 years with this problem.

Also, found this awesome group that focuses on teaching about metabolic issues and also discusses some specific thyroid concerns and diet and fitness. I stumbled on it at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=UndergroundWellness&view=videos and then I checked out the website, which has a great forum and blog: http://undergroundwellness.com/

Hey there Rutie, Welcome to our body group. I hope that your quest for your balance is getting better. I know for me it took some time but in the end I have been doing well. My energy has improved, but this is because my endo-doc is wonderful! She much better than my previous and she listen. Make sure your doc listen to how you are feeling, VERY Important!
