Apr 9, 2009 8:44am It is tough Cap, lil tricks my friend, every once in a blue moon like today I'll drink a diet soda, or at the gym whenever I'm about to fall down from an exhausting set, pop in some gum. It really is the lil things honestly that will get u by. Caffeine tablets help as well with the morning cardio in the wee hours...

Mar 6, 2009 9:12am As for what foods to eat I mainly stick to this guys: ground turkey (lots) 99.9% lean, chicken tenderloins, egg whites, oats, brown rice, broccoli and almonds (maybe some peanut butter for extra fat but not much)
Those foods have been the key to my success along with some whey protein, I do take a plethora of vitamins and minerals, fish oil, flaxseed oil for fiber, ZMA at night.

Mar 6, 2009 9:08am What has helped me is the low intensity cardio in the mornings and one session after weight training in the evening. I don't ever run because I actually did that one year to lose some weight (2005) running 5 miles a day and got down to 183lbs but was no where near the lean mass that I have today. It was done wrong and without diet and loss lots of muscle. 4 years later with lots more experience I am very satisfied and I'm only going to continue to get better.
