Welcome to brentonblack. You know, all of you, that we DO have a forum of our own here on the group page. Start a thread with a question or comment. I'm sure there would be some interest. And sign up for email notification when someone posts to the forum. That way you can keep up with the conversation.

Welcome to mortgagefish--diagnosed celiac and has had trouble staying with a workout plan what with weekly glutenizing. Check in and led some support.

Welcome, wscreamer. I buy my protein powder at Sams Club--EAS. The chocolate is good and so's the vanilla. I don't know about other brands. Most MRPs have gluten, so stick to simple whey protein and add your own extras.

Welcome our newest member--annamaywilson. I have already gotten acquainted--she's my daughter. Which brings up the subject--10% of a celiac's 1st level relatives (siblings, children, parents) are likely to also be celiac. You should encourage them to be tested.

I'm on tour through the central states for a couple of weeks with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I was really nervous about the eating. To lessen the problem some, I brought a lot of GF stuff with me--bread, protein powder, raisins, almonds, etc. One success has been some GF crackers that I made. They've been great. I'll post the recipe when I get back.

I just posted a recipe for rice pudding on our "forum." To get there, just click on "View all posts" in the Body-group Forum Activity box under our picture box just above this post. While you're there, add a post of your own :)

All right! Now we can type more than 500 characters. We can start different threads of "discussion" so that we can discuss recipes in a different conversation than nutrition. We can subscribe to the forum so we get email notification when someone posts there. So dig right in and start a discussion about what interests you. Click in the forum window that is just below the window with all our pictures.
