Dear Bheflin - cutting the fat is determined more by the type of diet that you follow than the exercises you do. Without the right diet, the fat simply will not be burned. With that said, you could substitute the flat bench press for the decline press if you want for variety purposes but keep in mind that fat loss is more a matter of dieting. Best! Lee

Dear Doughnutfingers - no need to reduce the weight unless you cannot do all the prescribed repetitions. Best! Lee

Hello! Great program, I've just started week 9 and am having great success. I'm curious though, I've heard that in order to really cut in the lower chest muscle that you need to do a decline press (bar/dumbbells) yet, none of the routines calls for this exercise. Any reason why this exercise is not in the program?

If you believe that you have already achieved a goal, your mind will lead your body to elicit the desired results.

A positive self-affirmation is stated in a manner in which the goal is considered "already achieved." Belief is key.

Never sacrifice form in order to increase weights. For best results (and for staying injury free) use a weight that you can control at all times AND feel the tension in those muscles. Best! Lee

Dear Darmando 87. Start with a diet that supplies you 190 grams of protein, 240 grams of carbs and 60 grams of good fats. That should get you started on the right track. Best! Lee
