I thought since part of bodybuilding is losing fat, a group for fat people to help each other would be nice.

Group Description

This group was started last year as a journey for like minded individuals who could use the help, drive, and motivation of one another. Now it is in it's second year adn going stronger than ever. It hs different people from different backgrounds and walks of life striving for the same goal.....lose the fat and get healthy.

Detailed Goal

If losing weight were easy, we wouldnt be reading this now would we. The main goal is to keep making lifestyle changes in order to lose the fat and keep in shape. We all motivate each other adn it is nice to talk once in a while to people in the same boat.

    it's not the most accurate way, but you can easily calculate it by taking your some measurements of your body, usually your neck and waist, and input that into any bf calculator you can find online through google.

    Hey guys.. I am new to the group, but seems interesting and hopefully it will keep my mind on track and finally loose the extra fat.. Does any1 know an accurate method to calculate %bodyfat w/o buying pinchers?? And by the way ultraviolet is great!

    Hey everyone! So, I recently calculated my bf % and it was something like 17.5%. Needless to say, I would like to get this down to 8%. I know this is going to be tough, but I am ready to work. Is there anyone out there that can suggest a diet that will allow me to keep building muscle, but cut the fat???

    How important is it to take a day off from the gym...i am restless to get to the gym everyday and i never want to miss a day...plus i always get the feeling that each day that i dont go to the gym is 1 day i dont lose fat off my waist line...please advise

    Just joined this body group and just wanted to Say HI...as of 26/10/2009 I have made up my mind to loose all the fat off my body ( I was 89kgs / 40" waist / 45" hip)....as of today (20/11/2009) I am 84 kgs / 40" waist/ 44" hip)..i am very happy about the progress even though its not much to look at...but am lovin every moment of it...
