Fortunately I have been able to train at the gym at work. Now I have to find a place to train on the weekends. There are so few hardcore gyms near my house. I might start traveling to LI to go to Bev Francis Powerhouse.

I trained at the Y in on 14th st in the CIty . It has its perks pool track and basketball . However if your a serious BB then you dont want to be at a Y The atmosphere is all wrong. The Y is known as a rehab gym so you have poeple taking it through the motions not motivating if you follow me

i agree ladyjny. I am lookin into a membership at the Y even though it is 30 mins away. the college gym in town only has weight cage hours 2 hours per day and it never works for me. i think it will be worth it for me to drive.

I had a workout at the YMCA recently. Most Y's have a good pool, good weight room, cardio room, etc. The advantage is it usually is not crowded and everyone is there to workout, not socialize. Might be worth looking into.
