Apr 13, 2009 6:37pm Hope all is well with everyone and their legs are growing beyond that of mere mortals. Quadzilla showed up today for my leg workout. Mind was engaged. Forced myself to do more reps on squats. Did 900 for 8, but on a steeper sled than in Davis. Quadzilla want more plates!

Mar 26, 2009 5:43pm I see there haven't been much posts lately to this group. How is everyone doing? Legs getting bigger and stronger I hope. I had a great workout today. I re-worked the exercises to not pair up really intense exercises for supersets (eg. squats and stiff leg deads). Sure worked. At the end my thighs and calves felt huge. Fun feeling the big slabs of beef on my front thighs contracting as I walked around. So much fun.

Feb 28, 2009 11:19am Had a great leg workout today. Doing a pure superset style of workouts. Upper body is great. Love the pump and still getting worked in a shorter time. However, supersetting squats with romanian deadlifts sure can take your breath away. And getting to have such big muscles pump up is awesome. Good cardio workout too. Wondering if I even need to go out on my bike later today. Cheers.

Feb 19, 2009 11:17am Sorry for the double post. But welcome to the quadzilla group. I hope to see everyone turn their legs into tree trunks. If you could all state some specific goals concerning your legs, that would be great. I'm looking to get my thighs up to 28-30in and calves to 18-19in. I'd like to be able to squat 6 plates either side for 6 perfect reps. Keep squattin' gang.

Feb 19, 2009 10:50am Good point there IF. Squats are indeed the core of every mass building leg workout. I've been trying to introduce more variability in all my workouts, after seeing the great results on arms. The idea being I don't repeat an exercise the next time around and capitalize on muscle confusion. Going to try doing squat variations and maybe even having leg press as my core mass builder one workout. But great point again. Perfect reason why this group exists. -T
