Backpacked 15 miles this weekend. Ran 4 more. Knee feels good and I'm gonna stop babying it. Still sore to the touch but not so much after the run.

My 2 prior pairs I bought from "The Right Fit" in findlay, Ohio. They are a therapuetic athletic store, They did a test that showed normal arch and they measured my shoe size, then I was able to run on their treadmill. So unless there's more to it than that I'd say so. They put me in Asics Gel 2130 and Saucony (can't remember style) the last time. I just bought a pair of Brooks Pure Connect2 but haven't had any miles on them yet.

So has anyone ever had this problem and if so have any thoughts to speed up recovery?? I can run just fine, but the day after 2 or 3 even the inside of my knee is (stiff and sore) and sore to the touch also. If I put ice on it then stiffens up more, if I put heat on it loosens up but still sore inside and out. It's been 4 mos and I've wore a brace, neoprene sleeve, heat rub and it seems a slight better but yet not really.

Ran 2-1/2 miles last night, calves are pretty sore guess I haven't been working them hard enough in gym. They hurt enough that it is hard to tell if my knee is hurting, I'll take that as a good sign for the knee.

Just joined and slowly working thru a bum knee. I'm told it may be a ligament sprain. 4 months now and I'm easing back in just did 3 miles last night, some stiffness today but liveable.
