Detailed Goal

To come together as teachers and gym rats and lift each other up. We all know that at times it gets hard in the gym as well as in the classroom. Our goal here is to help keep each other motivated and be held accountable for being great teachers with great bodies.

Group Commitment

"Every member of this group committed to..."

Everyone that joins this BodyGroup must be committed to helping all the members to reach new levels, set and reach their goals, to stay motivated, hold each other accountable and to lift each other up when they are in a slump in the gym or the classroom.

I'm hearing the blues as we are deep into the fall, but here comes the holiday season. The kids are into it. They respond well to sincere caring. I'm setting weekly goals with them and celebrate as we reach them. Hope the goals in the gym come easy and we can celebrate them. Time to reevaluate as I start a new month. Peace, Rich

My year has been great for a change. Last year, I was ready to quit, and this new school I'm at has showed me why I got into this field in the first place. I'm getting to coach lots too, which is so much fun!

Incredibly difficult year. Every reason I got into teaching is a reason to leave. I am doing more cma than teaching. Extremely disappointing. The Federal govt has taken away our ability to teach. I am glad I have the gym to take out my sorrow and frustration

Hope everyone had a great summer and made the most of YOUR time. Back next week and feel the batteries are recharged. We are so lucky to have a career that starts anew every September--the poor cubicle worker in the office tower has the same old stuff every day of the entire year. I am very proud of all of you for being an educator and really making a difference no matter what age you teach. Have a terrific year back in school!

3 weeks down ladies and gentlemen! October break is right around the corner! Hope all is going well for everyone. It's been a long time since I've taught straight 1st grade and it hit me like a ton of bricks for the first 2 weeks. This week I changed gears and reminded myself that they're only 6 years old. They won't have IT for a while, but when they do get IT, they'll be awesome, and I will again be able to teach academics and not so many social skills!

The first week is hard teaching the routines again, but hittin the gym keeps the mind sharp and helps clear out the junk, keeps me focused on what's important. Keep bringin it. Peace, Rich
