Good solid week just gone, back to some consistent lifting, cardio a little light on, but off in the next few hours for a week of hiking. Looking into the challenge and the change of pace. 6 Days of long long hikes in the hills.

I haven't done the Ab ripper workout, but I've seen it. That looks seriously intense!

@kulzor, thank you. My kids are happy to see my results since I was so huge before. I'm glad I've positively inspired them in fitness. @Ruben, thanks ya. Yeah, those quads can sure get in the way with the smaller waist :) I gotta do relaxed or loose fit depending on brand. I can get the regular on, but then I can't pick my legs up very high too to the thigh tightness. WTG on the leg workout.

32?! Way to go Pack. Nice milestone to reach! I am on my way to outgrowing my pants in the leg section. I had a grueling leg workout late last night and soreness is beginning to set in. I am trying to stretch often. I also did the "P90X ab ripper" for those that have done it, you know how intense it is.

That's awesome, Pack! Sounds like a good problem to have with the jeans, too. I'm impressed - you've obviously made a great impression on your daughter for her to want to go to the gym!

Pretty flippin' excited. I am down to a 32 inch waist on jeans. Regular fit doesn't work though. My quads are too big.

@kulzor, thanks. Yup, they go with me at least 5 days a week. My 11 year old daughter will be going in January too when she turns 12. That is the minimum age at the gym we go to. She's been itching to go for many months now :)

Nice on the 2-a-day thing, Pack. Bummer to hear about the sickness thing, though. Both of the kids getting in there with you regularly?

I was quiet because I was doing nothing. I was busy being sick as heck. I never focus on one or the other. I workout with serious weights earlier in the day. Then I go back at night and do cardio. I do my cardio session later bcuz my two boys of course have to wait until after school to do their workout. So then I take them and do my cardio.
